The Cumbria Amenity Trust Mining History Society (CATMHS) is a society interested in historical industrial sites with an emphasis on mining remains above and below ground. it is actively involved with the exploration of these sites.

New Constitution
From 1 January 2019 The Cumbria Amenity Trust Mining History Society (“CATMHS”) has converted to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (the “CIO”) Registered Charity Number 1180198
To accomplish the conversion CATMHS has adopted an updated Constitution. The background to this change is discussed in an Editorial in Newsletter 133 (November 2018). You can download the new constitution from our Constitution page.
