It is a 3 mile walk in to the mines, mostly uphill, but only a small section is steep. there are several adits which are accessible, although waist deep water will be encountered. Total surface walk is around 7 miles, and in the region of 3/4 mile of optional underground. No srt. but some crawling. And to end the day, a cracking little pub in the Village. Looking forward to seeing you all Sunday.
