A walk up Stoneycroft Gill to explore the various workings in this beautiful valley. Extensively worked from the 1500’s through to the 1800’s with many surface features, small levels and building remains still there for those who look carefully.
This is a strenuous walk and an optional gill scramble if the water level is low.
