8th November Greenburn Mine, Nr Little Langdale
An easy, non-SRT surface and underground visit to this very interesting set of ancient copper workings in the Central Lakes which were last worked in the 20th century and are now a scheduled monument. There is much to see from substantial surface remains of which there are many, an incline, levels, shafts, etc.
