A relaxed Easy Meet to the former Rhydymwyn Chemical Warfare site, developed in secret in WWII with large underground storage tunnels, lead mining history archives and the birthplace of the Tube Alloys Atomic Bomb Project which predated the Manhatton Project. The Local History Society have kindly offered to host us and show us round this large site which for many years was the subject of much myth and legend and a magnet for those intrepid mine explorers for whom it was out of bounds. It is a unique and beautiful place with much of interest
